Save the Spotted Notebook

Every laptop is going to be a Tablet PC. Or 'Convertible Notebook' as the recent Best Buy commercials have been calling them. There, I said it, and it's true. 

Frankly, I laugh myself silly whenever people debate the longevity of the Tablet platform. Foreva, fool (read with Hip-hop snide). And here's the reason why: No one, in their right mind would put a Windows Media Center Laptop on with a movie at a party where people are drinking (or more...) if they're sane. I can just see blazed people sitting their Coke & Rum on the forward-facing keyboard, 'Night at the Roxbury' blaring away.  The keyboard would end up stickier than blonde hair washed in Mountain Dew.

But if the screen twists around and it's at the forefront of your TV nook? Now that's money, right there.
