A lot of clients give me great book recommendations, and I decided to reciprocate by telling you about Soundview Executive Summaries. Essentially, they're 8-page summaries of the latest business-related books. You can also get them as audio summaries or e-docs if you prefer.
If like most, you're drowning in unread material, this can save you gobs of time and put you on to books you may never have found. I've found the summaries to be well-written and easy to grasp even if the subject matter covered is difficult. It's great for the subjects I love reading about --- but even better for the books I never would have touched with a ten-foot pole. I can sound moderately intelligent more often. Check it out here and get the piece of mind of knowing you're always up on the latest biz reading.
A couple of other sites to checkout in the same vain:
1) Capitol Reader: Essentially, the same as Soundview but for political junkies.
2) Smartbrief: Quick summaries for professionals by industry.
