The Final Countdown

Murrow God bless Europe for the classic song.

As I sit here watching the TV Guide Channel, praying for a 2 and Half Men rerun, I realize I'm ready to get started tomorrow with Mindjet Certification Training.  I think what I'm looking forward to most is getting a lasso around the Ribbon Interface.  After many years of using MindManager X5 and 6, I've become extremely familiar with the pull down menu formats, and you know the saying about teaching an old dog new tricks. So please Mindjet, reform me. I need the healing!

Some of you may also recall my difficulty enrolling in Mindjet certification training.  Rest assured that I will eat LOADS of free food and coffee to show Mindjet my gratefulness for making this happen.  Also, I hope Matt Mansinne and I have the opportunity to become better friends and establish a bond as trainers that will see us through many collaborative engagements in the coming years. That was legalese for 'become homies'.

It seems lately that I talk about food in every blog post, so let's make this blog post no different than the others in my one-man crusade to 'bring sexy back', via healthy eating (or fried chicken). Tonight I found a restaurant at an upscale Detroit Mall called Topz.  At Topz I was able to get a burger with lean beef on a wheat bun and baked french fries. God bless the entrepreneurs who are enabling me to get my junk food, guilt free.

As my buddy Edward R. Murrow would say, good night, and good luck.

Surveys, Patriots, Templates and I Return

I'm back refreshed from vacation, having basked in the wondrous healing power of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Here are a few developments I missed, and you may have as well:

Chuck Frey is surveying mind mappers, and I applaud him for it. If you're feeling an urge to be surveyed today, check it out here. You'll be doing a great service to the entire mapping community.

ActivityOwner turned one year old. God bless the site that pimped my GyroQ.

I want to thank Walter Terry for his portrayal of my recent actions toward better customer service. It is one of the greatest compliments I've ever received.

Mindjet Certification next week: Prepare the parade Detroit, I'm coming home. I wonder if Rasheed Wallace has time to play some Halo, eat some wings and drink some beer? Yes folks, I think about fried chicken a lot, because it is tasty and wonderful.

Finally, Eric Blue recently mentioned the VSS template set as helpful tools toward better dashboarding here. Amen, Brother. DAMN: My arrogance alert bracelet just vibrated.

PS: Someone just pulled a black Ferrari up to the curb to the right of me... Did one you readers send me a gift? Crap, I can't drive stick.
