Chuck Frey recently posted an interview with me that I'm inclined to point you to as he got me to open up about what it is the VSS Solution and I, Visual Strategist deliver.
Highlights include:
- The history of the VSS Templates
- What a 'Visual Strategist' does
- The future of visual mapping
And I like Chuck's question style... hell, I feel like hiring the guy after reading it!

Kyle, just found your blog and liked the discussion in this interview. Mind maps do represent a visual organization of data, defined as "gestalts" back in the 1960's that not only represent right brain functioning, but also a more efficient way to absorb a lot of information all at once. Maps rock when compared with lists in that area.
I'm fascinated with how you move from strategic to operational, from visuals to actions and the technology to support the transition. I've posted several blogs on that process, and would value your feedback. If you have only a minute or two read the one on "Goals are Critical, and Vastly over-rated" blog at http://www.managepro.com/blog
and let me know your thoughts.
