I'm often asked about what Tablet PC I recommend to MindManager and ResultsManager users. Myself, I've long used a Toshiba R15, which I find big on functionality but lacking on aesthetics. And if you've ever been blessed by one of my aesthetics rants, you know how important I consider the look and feel of a piece of technology to be in how passionately your usage will be. I think there's a clear reason why creative types flock to the Apple line of products.
Lenovo's X60 tablet is my best recommendation at the moment, but that may change based on early bits I've read on HP's upcoming tx 1000 Tablet, which should bring a more consumer-based set of features to the table. For the past year, I've watched HP release some beautiful laptops, on the level of MacBooks in my opinion, culminating in my purchase of an HP DV 9000 late 2006. Having an accompanying Tablet in the same vein with the same Zen feel to it would be huge, and would probably move me to purchase another HP just for technology experience continuuity. Oh, and you'll probably get a kick out of this: I call my new HP 17-inch DV 9000 Rome, based on my series of posts at the Taming Project Chaos blog.
